Doug Miller is entering his 21st season in the NFL and his sixth year with the Saints. Miller served the past four seasons in the public relations department and also as the team's senior director of new media. Included in his daily responsibilities is the direction and operation of the club’s website, NewOrleansSaints.com and social media platforms as well as working closely on the team yearbook, media guide and Gameday Magazine.
Prior to joining the Saints, Miller had served as the New York Jets' director of public and media relations from 2002-2006. Prior to holding that position, he had served in various roles for the Jets, including as the club’s director of publications, assistant director of public relations, and community relations manager.

Miller joined the Jets in 1991 as a public relations intern and was hired as a full-time employee in 1992. Miller has also worked for the NFL as a media relations specialist for seven AFC Championship games and was selected by the NFL to work nine Super Bowls as a public and media relations liaison. He earned his first Super Bowl ring as a member of the Saints' staff in 2009 with the team's championship in Super Bowl XLIV.
Miller graduated from the State University of New York following undergraduate stays at Davis & Elkins College, where he was a member of both the varsity soccer team and golf team as a freshman and sophomore, before transferring to the University of Pittsburgh.
At the University of Pittsburgh, Miller worked in the school’s sports information department and wrote for The Pitt News.
Doug and his wife, Carolyn, are the parents of a son, Tyler, 8, and a daughter, Lauren, 7. The Miller's reside in Mandeville, La. where they are active in youth sports and various charitable foundations.
