Community College in 2009…Originally attended the University of Toledo in 2007 where he redshirted as a receiver…A two-time All-Southern Conference selection while serving as a running back and returner for the Mountaineers, finishing his college career with 3,929 all-purpose yards, including 1,688 rushing yards on 336 carries and 1,376 kickoff return yards…Earned second-team All-Southern Conference accolades as a senior after leading the team in rushing yards (651), kickoff return yards (632), punt return yards (87) and all-purpose yards (1,703)…Majored in criminal justice.
PERSONAL – Prepped at Miami (Fla.) Central HS where he played quarterback and threw for 1,391 yards with 13 TD passes and rushed for more than 450 yards with two TDs as a senior, garnering first-team All-Dade County honors by the Miami Herald…Also served as the team’s punter and placekicker…Has visited patients in the pediatric unit at Ochsner Medical Center and adults receiving chemotherapy at the Tom and Gayle Benson Cancer Center over the Christmas holidays…Travaris Terrell Cadet was born Feb. 1, 1989.
