Cadet is a versatile and explosive player who has seen action at running back, wide receiver and return specialist during his NFL career. Recorded career-highs on offense in both rushing and receiving with 10 carries for 32 yards and 38 receptions for 296 yards with a touchdown. Also brought back 15 kickoffs for 364 yards (24.3 avg.)…Set new receiving career-high with six receptions for 59 yards at Dallas, Sept. 28…Returned three kickoffs for 76 yards and caught three passes for 19 yards and a touchdown vs. Tampa Bay, Oct. 5…Tied career-high in receiving with six grabs for 51 yards at Detroit, Oct. 19…Rushed two times for nine yards and had three grabs for 18 yards vs. San Francisco, Nov. 9. 2013 – played in 13 regular season contests and both postseason games…Returned nine kickoffs for 239 yards (26.6 avg.), brought back a punt for no gain, posted five special teams stops and had two receptions for five yards with one touchdown…Played on offense and special teams at New England, Oct. 13, and had a three-yard touchdown reception, his first career score and also added a special teams stop…Returned a kickoff for career-long 82 yards vs. San Francisco, Nov. 17. COLLEGE – Played three seasons at Appalachian State after transferring from Pearl River (Miss.) Community College in 2009…Originally attended the University of Toledo in 2007 where he redshirted as a receiver…A two-time All-Southern Conference selection while serving as a running back and returner for the Mountaineers, finishing his college career with 3,929 all-purpose yards, including 1,688 rushing yards on 336 carries and 1,376 kickoff return yards…Earned second-team All-Southern Conference accolades as a senior after leading the team in rushing yards (651), kickoff return yards (632), punt return yards (87) and all-purpose yards (1,703).

PERSONAL – Prepped at Miami (Fla.) Central HS where he played quarterback and threw for 1,391 yards with 13 touchdown passes and rushed for more than 450 yards with two touchdowns as a senior, garnering first-team All-Dade County honors by the Miami Herald…Also served as the team’s punter and placekicker…Has visited patients in the pediatric unit at Ochsner Medical Center and adults receiving chemotherapy at the Tom and Gayle Benson Cancer Center over the Christmas holidays…Travaris Terrell Cadet was born Feb. 1, 1989.
