NFL CAREER – Showing the persistence to jumpstart an NFL career by appearing in stints in NFL Europa, the Arena Football League and Canadian Football League, this Mississippi Gulf Coast native has become a significant contributor to the New Orleans defensive line rotation. Originally an undrafted free agent signing of the Indianapolis Colts in 2006 out of Southern Mississippi, Johnson has appeared in 40 games over the last three seasons for the Saints and posted 73 tackles (38 solo), five sacks, one pass defense and one fumble recovery.
