Originally a fifth round selection of the Arizona Cardinals (151st overall) in the 2012 NFL Draft, this two-time team captain for the University of Washington spent the majority of his second NFL season on the Saints practice squad. Possessing the versatility to play either guard or tackle, Kelemete will compete for a roster spot throughout the offseason and preseason in 2014.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS – Signed by Saints to reserve/future contract, 1/11/14; Re-signed to Saints practice squad, 9/26/13; Released from Saints practice squad, 9/24/13; Signed by Saints to practice squad, 9/2/13; Waived by Arizona, 8/30/13; Signed by Arizona to a four-year contract, 5/15/12; Selected by Arizona Cardinals in the fifth round (151st overall) of the 2012 NFL Draft.  2013 – Spent most of the regular season and the entire postseason on the Saints practice squad. 2012 – Played in the finale for Arizona after being inactive in each of the first 15 games…Made NFL debut at San Francisco, Dec. 30, playing at RG after Pat McQuistan suffered an ankle injury. Caught a deflected pass and gained 10 yards in second quarter.

COLLEGE – A two-time team captain and All-Pac 12 performer, started 41-of-46 games played for the Huskies…Began his career as a DT before switching to OL prior to his sophomore season…Finished his career by starting 26 consecutive games at LT after starting 11-of-12 games at G during his sophomore campaign…Credited with 258 knockdowns and 35 TD resulting blocks…Served as a team captain for second straight year and earned second-team All-Pac 12 after starting all 13 games at LT as a senior in ‘11…Named the John P. Angel Offensive Lineman of the Year…Recognized with the Fred Jacoby Sportsmanship Award at the Alamo Bowl…Named a team captain after making the switch from G to T prior to season and started all 13 games at LT as a junior in 2010…One of two offensive linemen to start every game and only one to start every game at same position…Earned offensive weightlifting award…After switching from DL to G during the spring, started 11-of-12 games played at RG and earned honorable mention All-Pac 10 honors as a sophomore in 2009…Named John P. Angel Lineman of the Year…As a freshman in 2008, played in eight of the Huskies 12 games as a LDT, earning the starting nod in four contests...One of 12 true freshmen to play in 2008 and one of nine to start at least one game…General studies major.

PERSONAL – Name pronounced “SENN-ee-oh” “KEL-uh-MET-tay”…Attended Evergreen (Seattle, Wash.) HS, where he was named the Seamount League’s Lineman of the Year on both the offensive and defensive lines as a senior…Earned All-American honors from Super Prep and earned first-team All-State honors from the Associated Press and Seattle Times…As a junior, was named first-team all-league on both the offensive and defensive lines…Led team to state playoffs for the first time since 2001 as a senior…Also lettered in wrestling and was a discus thrower for the Wolverines, winning the Seamount League discus title in 2007…Participated in the state wrestling tournament as a junior.
