Bush is a third-year safety who originally came into the NFL in 2010 as an undrafted free agent out of South Carolina State. After appearing in seven regular season games with the Atlanta Falcons and Denver Broncos and enjoying stints on the practice squad of the Falcons, Bush joined the Saints immediately following the end of the 2012 preseason and led the special teams units with 15 stops and a fumble recovery. He also contributed in the secondary with 13 tackles (nine solo), one interception, one pass defense, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery. Bush will push for more playing time in the secondary in 2013, while also helping lead the coverage units.
