NFL CAREER – A second-year tackle who will compete in the offseason and training camp for a roster spot on New Orleans’ offensive line. Trautwein signed with the St. Louis Rams as an undrafted free agent in 2009 and appeared in four games for St. Louis, also spending a month of his rookie year on the active roster of the Cleveland Browns. He spent the final seven weeks of the 2011 season on the Saints practice squad, becoming accimilated to the club’s offensive system, while working with the scout team.

2011– Spent the final seven weeks of the regular season on the Saints practice squad after being waived by Cleveland at the conclusion of the preseason. 2010 – After being waived by St. Louis during the preseason, spent the final month of the season on the Cleveland Browns practice squad. 2009 – Appeared in four contests as a rookie for the St. Louis Rams, after spending the first month of the regular season on the Browns active roster, later spending two weeks on the Cleveland practice squad prior to being signed by the Rams
COLLEGE – Played in 46 career games with 29 starts at Florida…Started 14 games at LT, including SEC Championship and BCS National Championship, as a senior in 2008…Earned first-team All-SEC honors…Added second-team All-America honors from Sports Illustrated…Missed 2007 season with a stress fracture in right foot…Started all 14 games in 2006 season…Saw action in all 12 games in 2005, making first career start as a TE against Florida State…Saw action in six games as a freshman in 2004.
