The former Penn State standout has appeared in 43 career contests with three starts for three clubs and has posted career totals of 30 tackles (24 solo), one sack, two passes defensed, one fumble recovery and 28 special teams stops. Giants, Sept. 20 and collared five tackles (four solo) and assisted a run defense that held the Giants under 100 ayrds on the ground…Made his first start and recorded one tackle at Dallas, Sept. 27. Part of a defense that held the Cowboys to 54 yards of total offense in the second half…Scored his first career touchdown on an 84-yard fumble return against Houston, Oct. 4. Also added three tackles on defense and three stops on special teams…Started and recorded his first career sack, dropping QB Kirk Cousins behind the line of scrimmage against Washington, Oct. 11. Also helped the Falcons defense hold the Redskins to 51 rushing yards and 2.1 yards per carry…Saw action at linebacker and collared one tackle at New Orleans, Oct. 5. Helped the Falcons defense hold the Saints to 81 yards on the ground…Tallied a pair of tackles at San Francisco, Nov. 8..Started at middle linebacker and recorded six total tackles (five solo) with one pass defensed and one special teams stop at Jacksonville, Dec. 20…Saw action on 52 percent of the defensive snaps against Carolina, Dec. 27, logging four tackles (three solo).  2014 – Played in 15 games as a core member of the Falcons special teams units. Named to the Big 10 All-Academic team three times…As a senior, started nine of 13 games and ranked third on the team with 80 tackles…During his junior year, played in every game, with seven starts, and finished third on the team with 73 tackles…Majored in film and video.

PERSONAL – Attended State College (Pa.) Area HS where he was rated among the nation’s top-10 DE/OLB prospects in 2006…Named Pennsylvania’s Defensive Player of the Year and Mid-Penn Defensive Most Valuable Player as a senior…Was a first-team All-State selection after notching 60 tackles and eight sacks as a senior in addition to catching 39 passes for 624 yards and eight TDs as a TE/WR…Older brother, Jonathan, is an NFL tight end who played for the Buffalo Bills from 2009-2010 and uncle, Jeff Hostetler, is a retired NFL quarterback…Full name is Stephen Nathan Stupar.
