The first round pick of the Saints in 2013 (15th overall), Vaccaro was able to make immediate contributions to the New Orleans secondary as the former All-American at the University of Texas started all 14 games he appeared in as a rookie, totaling 93 tackles (60 total), one sack, one interception, six passes defensed, one forced fumble and three special teams stops before suffering a season-ending ankle injury. The versatile, hard-hitting safety will continue his development on the field, in the weight room and in the meeting room, bringing his versatile talents to the defensive backfield.
