NFL CAREER – Casillas made a strong comeback from a foot injury that sidelined him for the entire 2010 season, as he appeared in 23 games with four starts and finished with a career-high 57 tackles (33 solo), three sacks and three pass defenses. The former Wisconsin standout made the 53-man roster out of training camp in 2009 as an undrafted free agent and almost immediately contributed on defense and special teams.

Three quarterback takedowns led the New Orleans linebacker corps…After being inactive for NFC Wild Card Playoff vs. Detroit with a knee injury, returned to action in NFC Divisional Playoff at San Francisco and recorded one special teams stops…Made three solo tackles and added his first career sack in opener at Green Bay, Sept. 8…Made two solo tackles and one sack vs. Chicago, Sept. 18…Led the special teams unit with two tackles and added three tackles (two solo) on defense at Carolina, Oct. 9…Made three solo tackle and had a career-high three special teams stops at Tampa Bay, Oct. 16…Tied for the team lead on defense with five tackles (two solo) and a sack vs. Indianapolis, Oct. 23…Made first start of the season vs. Tampa Bay, Nov. 6 and registered ten tackles (six solo)…Started the following week at Atlanta, Nov. 13 and set a career-high with 11 tackles (five solo) and a pass defense…Started vs. N.Y. Giants, Nov. 28 and recorded seven tackles (four solo)…Registered seven tackles (four solo) vs. Detroit, Dec. 4…Inactive weeks 14-16 with a knee injury. 2010 – Missed entire season following foot injury suffered in preseason finale…Was pushing for a starting role at the time of injury, having finished second on club in preseason with 18 tackles (16 solo), three for a loss, adding one sack for an eight-yard loss and one special teams stop. 2009 – Played in 11 regular season games with two starts at WLB in place of an injured Scott Shanle for last two contests…Recorded 20 tackles (11 solo) and five special teams stops…Appeared in all three postseason games and made one solo tackle and two special teams stops…After being inactive for first two games made NFL debut at Buffalo, Sept. 27 and recorded two special teams tackles…Tied career-high with two special teams tackles vs. Carolina, Nov. 8…Played for the first time on defense at Atlanta, Dec. 13 and had one assisted tackle…Made first NFL start vs. Tampa Bay, Dec. 27 and tied for team lead with ten tackles (seven solo).

COLLEGE – Three-year starter at WLB for Wisconsin, where he recorded 246 tackles (146 solo), four sacks, four forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries, five pass defenses, two interceptions and three blocked punts…All-Big Ten honorable mention selection final three years…Made 62 tackles (34 solo), one sack, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery and one interception as senior…As junior, had career-high 96 tackles (57 solo), one sack, two forced fumbles and a pass defense…Recorded 83 tackles (53 solo), two sacks, a forced fumble, a fumble recovery, a blocked punt returned for a TD, an interception and four passes defensed as sophomore…Blocked two punts as freshman…Majored in Agricultural Business Management.
