NFL CAREER – Bell will compete for a roster spot after joining the Saints following the conclusion of the regular season. The 2009 Harlon Hill Trophy winner also spent time on the rosters of Philadelphia and Indianapolis as a rookie.

2010 – Prior to being signed to the roster for the Wild Card Playoff at Seattle on 1/8/11, for which he was inactive, appeared in three games for Philadelphia and five games for Indianapolis…Made three special teams tackles for Indianapolis…Spent the final two weeks of the regular season on the Eagles practice squad.

COLLEGE – Played in 44 career games (42 starts), compiling 8,055 all-purpose yards and 576 points (88 rushing TDs, eight receiving TDs), ranking him ninth and fifth, respectively, in NCAA history…Started in 11 games as senior in 2009, totaling career-highs in rushing yards (2,084) and TDs (29)…Received Harlon Hill Trophy as best player in Division II after leading the nation in rushing (189.5 ypg), all-purpose yards (217.5 ypg) and scoring (17.5 ppg).

PERSONAL – Senior team captain at Benton Harbor (MI.) HS in 2004, earned first-team All-Southwestern Athletic Conference honors, rushing for 1,171 yards and 13 TDs…Also played QB and DB…Baseball team captain…As freshman at Wayne St., worked part-time as security guard at Ford Field…Biggest influences growing up were his father and godfather…Earned Criminal Justice degree…Born August 4, 1986 in Benton Harbor, MI.
