The speedy wideout has averaged the NFL’s second-best 18.5 yards per reception over the past five years and is tied for second in the league with five catches of 75 or more yards during that span. A second-round pick in 2004 out of LSU, Henderson has started 67 of 108 games in his career and totaled 223 receptions for 4,061 yards (18.2 avg.) and 19 touchdowns. Reached the century mark for the ninth time in his career, tying him for fifth in club record books...Caught three passes for 62 yards, including a 44-yard reception vs. Houston, Sept. 25…Hauled in five receptions for 67 yards vs. New York Giants, Nov. 28…Hauled in two passes for 48 yards in regular season finale vs. Carolina, 1/1/12…Made two receptions for 64 yards with one touchdown and added one rush for four yards in NFC Wild Card Playoff vs. Detroit, 1/7/12…Caught four passes for 49 yards in NFC Divisional Playoff at San Francisco, 1/14/12.  2010 – Started 11-of-16 games and recorded 34 receptions for 464 (13.6 avg.) yards with one touchdown…Also had three rushes for eight yards…In opener vs. Minnesota, Sept. 9, 29-yard TD grab on New Orleans’ first offensive drive gave Saints and early lead…Finished with four receptions for 97 yards, including 57- and 22-yard first quarter catches, which put the Saints inside the ten-yard line on two occasions on drives that would result in TDs at Dallas, Nov. 25…In NFC Wild Card Playoff at Seattle, 1/8/11, started and led team with seven catches for 77 yards with a six-yard TD.  2009 – Appeared in all 16 games with 11 starts and added 51 receptions for 804 yards (15.8 avg.) and two touchdowns. Finished with career-highs in catches and yardage…Ranked second on club in catches, yardage and receiving average…In postseason, recorded 15 receptions for 182 yards with two touchdowns…In opener vs. Detroit, Sept. 13, led club in catches and receiving yardage with five grabs for 103 yards and a 58-yard TD reception…Caught three passes for 71 yards, including a key 38-yard third down grab at Philadelphia, Sept. 20…Made four catches for 71 yards at Miami, Oct. 25, including a 37-yard reception…Displayed a clutch performance vs. Atlanta, Nov. 2, as he recorded four catches for 46 yards. Second quarter 24-yard acrobatic grab helped move the Saints inside the five-yard line to set up a TD…Hauled in three passes for 93 yards (31.0 avg.) vs. Carolina, Nov. 8. His 63-yard reception, which he took to the Carolina ten-yard line on New Orleans’ first drive of the third quarter, set up the TD that cut their deficit to four points…Had four receptions for team-high 72 yards at St. Louis, Nov. 15, making 26 and 21-yard grabs…Hauled in three passes for 116 yards (38.7 avg.) with a 75-yard TD catch vs. New England, Nov. 30, to rank second on club in yardage as he and Marques Colston had the club’s first dual day of 100 yards receiving since 2006.
