NFL CAREER – After a productive rookie campaign in 2010, this undrafted free agent from Tiffin (Ohio) has established a position in a talented running back rotation as a rugged, between-the-tackles runner. Long runs have been Ivory’s specialty throughout his career and in 2012 as well where he recorded one rush of at least 20 yards in three contests. Ivory led the team in yards per carry (5.4) in 2012, gaining 217 yards and two touchdowns on just 40 carries. In 24 games with eight starts in his three-year career, Ivory has carried 256 times for 1,307 yards (5.1 avg.) and ranks third in club record books for yards per carry.

2012 – After not seeing action in the first seven contests, and missing three others due to a hamstring injury, appeared in six games with two starts, carrying 40 times for 217 yards (5.4 avg.) and two touchdowns, also catching two passes for 15 yards…Led Saints with 10 carries for 48 yards, including a 22-yard touchdown run, in his first action of the season vs. Philadelphia, Nov. 5…Led team with 72 rushing yards on seven carries (10.3 avg.) including a career-long 56-yard touchdown run, the longest rush by a Saint since 2006, while also adding a season-long 13-yard reception vs. Atlanta, Nov. 11…Carried eight times for 34 yards in first start of the season vs. San Francisco, Nov. 25…Missed week 14-16 games due to a hamstring injury…Opened the season finale and rushed four times for 22 yards (5.5 avg.) vs. Carolina, Dec. 30. 2011 – After spending the first seven weeks of the season on the Physically Unable to Perform list recovering from foot and sports hernia surgeries, appeared in six games, carrying 79 times for 374 yards (4.7 avg.) with one touchdown. Played in both postseason games and carried 22 times for 70 yards…At Minnesota, Dec. 18, carried 18 times for 74 yards (4.1 avg.)…Became the only Saint to reach the century mark in the 2011 season, when he carried 19 times for 127 yards (6.7 avg.) with a 35-yard touchdown vs. Carolina, 1/1/12. 2010 – Appeared in 12 games with four starts and led team in rushing, carrying 137 times for 716 yards (5.2 avg.) with five touchdowns and a 17-yard reception…Ranked fourth in NFL in yards per carry and second among rookies in yardage. Yardage total was fourth-highest all-time by a Saints rookie…In first NFL start vs. Carolina, Oct. 3, led Saints in rushing with 12 carries for 67 yards (5.6 avg.)…Enjoyed breakout performance at Tampa Bay, Oct. 17, carrying 15 times for 158 yards (10.5 avg.), the 25th most rushing yards by an undrafted player in NFL history and the second-most yards per carry in a single game by a Saint, the first to gain 150 yards and average ten yards per carry. Ivory’s yards per carry was the fourth-best in a single game in NFL history by an undrafted player with at least ten rushes…Narrowly missed the century mark vs. Seattle, Nov. 21, when he carried 23 times for 99 yards and scored his first NFL touchdown on a one-yard dive…A pair of first quarter touchdown runs gave New Orleans a 17-0 lead at Dallas, Nov. 25…Became first Saint to have two 100-yard rushing games in a season since 2006 (Deuce McAllister), when he carried 15 times for 117 yards (7.8 avg.) with two touchdowns, including a 55-yard scoring run at Cincinnati, Dec. 5…Ran seven times for 47 yards (6.7 avg.) in one quarter vs. St. Louis, Dec. 12, before leaving after suffering a hamstring injury…After missing two games, returned to action in regular season finale vs. Tampa Bay, 1/2/11, and carried seven times for 33 yards before suffering a season-ending foot injury which would require surgery.
COLLEGE – In senior year at Tiffin after transferring from Washington State, carried 39 times for 223 yards in five games before suffering season-ending knee injury…Appeared in 22 games over three seasons with the Cougars, rushing for 534 yards on 91 attempts (5.9 avg.) with four TDs, along with a 22.8-yard average on kickoff returns.
