2015 – Played in all 16 games for the second consecutive season, starting the final two games of the campaign at left tackle. Contributed to an offense that ranked first in the NFL in net yards per game, first downs and third down efficiency. 2013 – Appeared in all 16 regular season games with one start at right tackle, also serving as an extra blocker in multiple tight end packages. Also appeared in both postseason games…Started at right tackle at New England, Oct. 13 for an injured Zach Strief. 2012 – After being signed to the Saints active roster following week one from the Atlanta Falcons practice squad, Harris appeared in two contests with one start…After being inactive for seven games and a DNP for one, Harris was pressed into action at right tackle for an injured Charles Brown at Oakland, Nov. 18…Started at right tackle the following week vs. San Francisco, Nov. 25, before suffering a season-ending ankle injury that forced him to be placed on Injured Reserve.
COLLEGE – Started in 39 consecutive games at Fresno State after converting to the offensive line from defensive tackle during his redshirt freshman campaign...Selected to the All-Western Athletic Conference first-team by conference coaches as a senior and finished second-team as a junior...Opened holes for Philadelphia Eagles RB Ryan Mathews as redshirt sophomore as Fresno ranked in the top 20 nationally in total offense and scoring…Majored in computer engineering.
PERSONAL – Harris prepped at Tulare Union (Tulare, Calif.) HS, where he was a team captain and a member of the East Yosemite League champions...Has visited both pediatric and cancer infusion patients at Ochsner Medical Center with teammates in 2013 and 2014…Also helped host a pep rally and pizza party at St. Cletus School in Gretna in support of the NFL’s and club’s Play 60 program, supported by Rotolo’s Pizzeria and the Louisiana Dairy Farmers Association…Along with teammates, donated the funding and helped distribute 1,000 Thanksgiving meals to local families in need at Dryades YMCA in 2013 and 2014…Has participated in games of football, basketball and dodgeball with students at Edgar P. Harney Spirit of Excellence Academy as part of Playworks school visits on two occasions…Born January 16, 1989.
