NFL CAREER – Originally a seventh-round draft pick by the St. Louis Rams in 2010, Johnson joins the Saints as a free agent in 2012. The former University of Alabama standout has appeared in five games in two seasons for the Rams, totaling nine tackles (five solo) and two passes defensed while also contributing on special teams. In 2011, Johnson saw action in three contests and recorded seven tackles (four solo) and two passes defensed.

COLLEGE – Appeared in 50 games with 13 starts as a four-year letterman at Alabama…Finished with 89 tackles, 24 passes defensed, three interceptions and a fumble recovery…Helped Crimson Tide win National Championship as a senior, appearing in 14 contests with ten starts and registering 29 tackles (24 solo), an interception and 18 passes defensed…As a junior, played in all 14 games with three starts and tallied 49 tackles, two interceptions and five passes defensed.
PERSONAL – Led Booker (Sarasota, Fla.) HS to a 13-2 record as a senior, registering 39 solo tackles, five interceptions and 15 passes defensed…Also returned punts, averaging 37.6 yards per return…Named all-state as a cornerback and punt returner…Also competed as a member of the state-champion basketball team, in addition to competing in the triple jump in the Florida state track and field championships…Marquis Adrian Johnson was born May 18, 1988.
