Drescher was signed as a free agent by the Saints in late November of 2010 and has handled snapping duties in all 54 regular season games and four postseason contests. He is expected to reprise snapping duties in 2014 after being locked up for the long haul with a four-year contract in the 2013 offseason.

CAREER TRANSACTIONS – Agreed to terms on a four-year contract, 3/13/13; Agreed to terms on a one-year contract (ERFA), 2/29/12; Signed by New Orleans, 11/23/10; Waived by Atlanta Falcons, 6/15/10; Signed by Atlanta as an undrafted free agent, 4/26/10.

2013 – Handled all snaps in all 16 regular season games, as well as both postseason contests. 2012 – Played in all 16 games, handling snapping duties on extra points, field goals and punts…Helped K Garrett Hartley convert 18-of-22 field goal attempts. 2011 – Played in all 16 regular season games handling snapping duties on extra points, field goals and punts, as well as both postseason contests….Helped K John Kasay convert 28-of-34 field goal attempts.  2010 – After spending part of the offseason with Atlanta, he was signed by New Orleans on Nov. 23 and handled snapping duties for the final six regular season games and one playoff contest…Recorded one special teams tackle at Cincinnati, Dec. 5…Helped Hartley convert all ten of his field goal attempts.

COLLEGE – Long snapper for the Buffaloes for all four of his collegiate seasons in Boulder, appearing in 49 games, making five tackles and recovering a fumble on special teams while handling the snap on every kick…Graduated with a bachelor’s degree in finance.

PERSONAL – Second-team All-District selection as a senior, playing G and LS for Carroll (Southlake, Texas) HS…Was a part of two state championship teams, winning 32 consecutive games in his two seasons…Also lettered in baseball…Participated in a sporting clays competition with Saints alumni to benefit the Green Beret and Navy Seal Foundations…One of the club’s most active players in the community, in 2013 Drescher also participated in the 2013 NFL-United Way Hometown Huddle event at the Belle Chasse YMCA, a Playworks School visit at Arthur Ashe Elementary, a Rotolo’s Literacy Program visit at St. Angela Merici School and has visited patients at Ochsner Medical Center as well as participating in the “Baskets of Hope” program at the hospital…Born Jan. 1, 1988 in Colorado Springs, Colo.
