NFL CAREER – A versatile veteran lineman who can line up at end or tackle, Wilkerson joined the Saints in 2010 and posted 43 tackles (19 solo) and two sacks as a member of the defensive line rotation. The eight-year veteran was originally a sixth round draft choice of Kansas City in 2003 and played for Tampa Bay from 2008-09 before coming to New Orleans. In 119 career appearances – 21 starts – the former Oklahoma standout has notched 234 tackles with 14 sacks, 10 pass defenses, four forced fumbles, a fumble recovery and 48 tackles on special teams.

First-team All-Big 12 choice by The NFL Draft Report…Recorded 46 tackles (25 solo), including six sacks, two pass defenses and one forced fumble…Played in 12 games with 10 starts as a rush end sophomore season in 2001, earning consensus first-team All-Big 12 honors…Totaled career-high 68 tackles (31 solo), five sacks, 10 pass defenses and three forced fumbles...Saw action in 12 games as a freshman in 2000, recording 16 tackles (10 solo) and a sack, spending the majority of the season at linebacker…Majored in education.
