NFL CAREER – Since being signed by the club as a free agent in October 2008, Charleston has evolved into a significant member New Orleans’ defensive line rotation as well as being a valuable contributor on special teams. The high-energy end has appeared in 65 career games, with four starts. First signed by Houston as an undrafted free agent in 2006, Charleston latched on with Indianapolis in 2007 before coming to New Orleans. In his career, he’s recorded 113 stops, eight sacks, three forced fumbles, four pass defenses one fumble recovery and 34 special teams tackles.
