Bunkley contributed on defense in all 11 games he saw action in and anchored the middle of the defensive line with 23 tackles before suffering a season-ending quadriceps injury. 2014 – Started all 11 games he appeared in before being placed on reserve/injured on Nov. 28.  Finished with 23 tackles (13 solo)…Registered two tackles (one solo) helping hold the Buccaneers to 66 yards rushing vs. Tampa Bay, Oct. 5...Started and played in 125th career game and part of an effort that allowed only 59 yards on 24 carries (2.5 avg.) at Detroit, Oct. 19…Started 100th career game and recorded three tackles (two solo) vs. Cincinnati, Nov. 16.  2013 – Appeared in 12 games with 10 starts at nose tackle and recorded 24 tackles (11 solo)…Started both playoff contests and finished with eight stops (five solo)…Left season opener vs. Atlanta, Sept. 8 (calf) and was inactive for next four contests before returning to action at New England, Oct. 13…Played an important role in the interior for a defense that made one of the most impressive statistical turnarounds in National Football League history, surrendering 134.4 fewer net yards per game and giving up 9.4 fewer points per game than in 2012. 2012 – Started all 15 games he appeared in. Recorded 32 tackles (18 solo), 2.5 sacks for a loss of 8.5 yards and two passes defensed…Totaled season-high seven stops (four solo) and split a sack with Scott Shanle in his Saints debut vs. Washington, Sept. 9…Registered a sack of Michael Vick vs. Philadelphia, Nov. 5…Posted three tackles (one solo) and one pass defensed at Atlanta, Nov. 29…Recorded six tackles (four solo) and one sack vs. Carolina, Dec. 30. 2011 – Appeared in all 16 games with 13 starts at NT with Denver…Finished with 43 tackles (33 solo)…Registered season-high five solo tackles vs. NYJ, Nov. 17…Played in both postseason contests with one start and totaled six tackles (four solo), one sack and one forced fumble…Recorded his first career postseason sack in Wild Card Playoff contest vs. Pittsburgh, 1/8/12…Forced a fumble in Divisional Playoff contest at New England, 1/14/12. 2010 – Played in 14 games with five starts in final season with the Philadelphia Eagles…Registered 34 tackles (20 solo) and a pass defensed…Ranked second on the team with five tackles for a loss…Made one tackle in NFC Wild Card playoff vs. Green Bay, 1/9/11…Missed two contests with an elbow injury, snapping a 47-game starting streak. 2009 – Started all 16 games and recorded 58 tackles (37 solo), a sack for minus four yards, four passes defensed and a fumble recovery…Tied for the team lead with six tackles for loss…Registered four tackles in Wild Card Playoff contest at Dallas, 1/4/10. 2008 – Started all 16 games and finished with career-high 82 tackles (46 solo), two sacks, one pass defensed and one fumble recovery…Started all three postseason contests and recorded 13 tackles (five solo). 2007 – Started all 15 contests he appeared in and registered 75 tackles (35 solo) with a career-best three sacks for minus 20 yards and one fumble recovery…Recorded seven tackles (one solo) in his first career start at Green Bay, Sept. 9. 2006 – Appeared in 15 games in his rookie campaign and totaled 13 tackles (eight solo) and one pass defensed…Played in both postseason contests but did not post any stats.

COLLEGE – Appeared in 44 career games with 22 starts as a four-year letterman at Florida State…Finished with 129 tackles and 11.5 sacks…Ranked fourth in school history with 37 stops for loss…Ranked second in the nation with 25 tackles for a loss in his senior season, the most in a season by a Seminole…Earned numerous All-American honors his senior year…Social science major.

PERSONAL – Attended Chamberlain (Tampa, Fla.) HS and was rated the state’s second-best DT by Florida Times-Union…Led team to the state finals with 18.5 sacks as a senior and was selected to play in the Georgia-Florida All-Star Game…Born on Nov. 23, 1983 in Tampa, Fla.
