Williams will assist the defensive staff in all aspects of game preparation, including film breakdown, player and unit scouting reports, the creation of playbooks and during practice after working with the offense in 2009. Williams came to New Orleans after serving as a defensive assistant with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2008, holding similar responsibilities. He was a coaching intern with the Washington Redskins from 2006-07. A graduate of Princeton University, Williams was a four-year letterman on the school’s football team, where he played defensive back and on special teams.
