Saints vs. Patriots, third-quarter updates: Pats 20, Saints 17

Saints score 10 points in period

Third-quarter updates: The Patriots' Stephen Gostowski drilled a 54-yard field goal with 1:36 to play in the period to take a 20-17 lead Sunday over the New Orleans Saints at Gillette Stadium.

The Saints scored the first 10 points of the period on a 28-yard Garrett Hartley field goal and a 3-yard touchdown run by Khiry Robinson.

Saints tight end Jimmy Graham still doesn't have a catch. New England defensive back aqib Talib and receiver Danny Amendola have both left the game with injuries and are not expected to return.

Key stats: Drew Brees, 15 of 30 for 198 yards and one TD; Darren Sproles, six catches for 58 yards. Patriots, Tom Brady, 19 of 30 for 195 yards; Stevan Ridley, 16 carries for 85 yards and two TDs.
