“Today we had troops from to USO center in Kandahar, Afghanistan. We actually have one wounded guy from the states playing online too. It’s a real simple thing but the good thing about it is, it doesn’t matter if you’re the best player in the world or if you’re the highest ranking officer overseas. You can pull the jerseys off, pull the rank off and just have a good time playing a video game.” said Founder of Pro vs. GI Joe, Greg Zinone.
There was a station set up in the media workroom that allowed players to connect live via webcam and take turns competing with the USO.
“Honestly we’re just coming out here to interact and see everybody that is representing America,” Jordan said. “We got the chance to play them in a little Call of Duty. We definitely get to interact with the guys overseas and see how much work that they’ve done and really appreciate what they’ve done for the country. Just by being here and being able to see them and go against them is such a cool thing to do.”
