SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 2012 ● O.co COLISEUM

SAINTS POSTGAME NOTES

*The New Orleans Saints improve to 5-5 with their fifth win in six games heading into next Sunday’s game vs. the San Francisco 49ers (3:25 p.m., FOX).

*The win extends New Orleans’ win streak in the month of November, dating back to 2009, to 14 games.

*It is New Orleans’ first winning streak of three games or more in 2012 and their eighth since 2006.

*New Orleans’ 38-point output is their highest of 2012.

*New Orleans improves their all-time record against Oakland in the series to 6-5-1. The Raiders are now the ninth club that the Saints have a winning record against all-time (Buffalo, Detroit, Houston, Indianapolis, Jacksonville, New York Jets, Seattle, Tampa Bay).

*QB Drew Brees completed 20 of 27 passes for 219 yards, three touchdowns and a passer rating of 134.6.

*Brees’ second-quarter one-yard touchdown pass to TE Jimmy Graham in the first quarter extended his NFL-record streak of consecutive games with a touchdown pass to 53. He also extended his NFL-record streak of games with 20 or more completions to 46.

*Brees has thrown at least one touchdown pass in 95 of his 105 starts as a Saint. Brees has 95 multiple-TD games in his NFL career, the third-most among active NFL quarterbacks and ranked sixth all-time.

*Brees now leads the NFL with 28 touchdown passes this season.

*RB Mark Ingram tied a season-best in rushing with 67 yards on 12 carries, including a 27-yard touchdown run in the third quarter.

*RB Chris Ivory ripped off a 25-yard run in the third quarter as part of an afternoon where he carried eight times for 37 yards.

*WR Marques Colston finished with four receptions for 69 yards. Colston’s fourth quarter 15-yard reception was the 500th of his career. He is now the third player in franchise history to reach that mark, joining Eric Martin (532) and Joe Horn (523).

*Graham led New Orleans in receiving with six catches for 29 yards, including a first quarter one-yard touchdown grab. Graham has now posted touchdown catches in his last four contests, recording five overall during the period.

*Graham has 24 career receiving touchdowns, now in sole possession of eighth all-time among Saints receivers as he surpassed Robert Meachem (2007-11) and Donte’ Stallworth (2002-05).

*WR Lance Moore had two receptions for 53 yards, both of them touchdowns, moving his career total to 286 receptions and moving him past Tony Galbreath for sole possession of sixth place on the Saints’ career list. It marks the seventh time in his career that Moore has had two touchdown grabs in a game, the first since the contest at Minnesota, Dec. 18, 2011.
