New Orleans Saints 2017 season recap: Vonn Bell

Bell led the Saints in tackles for the regular season with 83

Vonn Bell knew the expectations would be raised after becoming a key contributor on the New Orleans Saints defense in 2016, his rookie season. With one year under his belt, the strong safety out of Ohio Statel was able to increase his productivity and create mayhem for the opposing team's offense. Bell started 10 of 16 games and generated additional pressure on the quarterback, tallying 4.5 sacks this season.

After the injury to veteran safety Kenny Vaccaro, Bell stepped up and led the Saints in tackles for the regular season with 83.

Best Game: Bell had a career-high 13 tackles, one sack, and one forced fumble in the victory over the Washington Redskins in Week 11.
