Saints Hall of Fame inductee Joe Horn will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum on Sunday, September 8 from 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m., prior to the season opener between the New Orleans Saints and the Atlanta Falcons.
Horn, who was inducted into the Saints Hall of Fame in 2010, will be available for autographs and pictures.
Horn played for the Saints from 2000-2006 (seven seasons) before playing for the Falcons in 2007.
A four-time Pro Bowl selection with the Saints (2000, 2001, 2002, 2004), Horn ranks third in receptions (523), second in receiving yards (7,622) and second in touchdown receptions (50) in franchise history. For his 12-year NFL career, including with Kansas City (1996-1999), Horn caught 603 passes for 8,744 yards and 58 touchdowns. Horn officially retired as a New Orleans Saint on June 25, 2010.
Fox 8 news anchor/reporter Nancy Parker will also appear at the museum to sign and sell copies of her children's book, "The Adventures of Yat and Dat Superdome," from 10 a.m.-11:15 a.m. as well.
The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is located at Gate B on the Plaza Level of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome. The museum is open on Saints' game day three hours before game time and for 45 minutes following each game, free of charge to game ticket holders.
The museum is open by appointment Monday-Friday between 10 a.m.-3 p.m., based on availability, at a cost of $7 per person or $5 for a group of 10 or more.
