Five things to know about the New Orleans Saints on Friday, August 30

Saints are moving focus to the regular season opener against the Atlanta Falcons

1. Sean Payton spoke with the media after Thursday night’s game. Watch his press conference now. You can also read players quotes from after the game here.

2. Senior writer John DeShazier broke down the game and the younger players’ performances during their final preseason appearance.

3. Lance Moore and Darren Sharper are hosting their charity softball event “Home Runs For Kids” tonight at 7 p.m. at Mike Miley Stadium. Drew Brees will highlight the home run derby. Click here for more information and how to purchase tickets.

4. The Saints Back to Football Run presented by Chevron is Saturday morning at 7:30 a.m. The race will begin in Champions Square and end on the 50-yard line of the Mercedes-Benz Superdome and benefits Team Gleason, The One Fund Boston and The Greater New Orleans Sports Foundation.
