Drew Brees wins Clutch Performer of the Year

Brees was selected as Castrol Clutch Performer of the Week in Week 11

New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees has been selected as the Castrol Edge Clutch Performer of the Year after his standout performance during the 2017 NFL season.

In Week 11, Brees completed 29 of 41 passes for 385 yards and two touchdowns for a 106.2 passer rating in the New Orleans Saints' 34-31 overtime win against the Washington Redskins. He helped the Saints become the first team in the Super Bowl era to win its next eight games after an 0-2 start.

Brees was selected as Castrol Clutch Performer of the Week in Week 11.

Drew Brees finished his 12th season with the New Orleans Saints in record-breaking fashion. Brees became one of three quarterbacks in NFL history with 70,000 passing yards; he set the NFL record for single-season completion percentage (72 percent) and owns three of the top four completion percentage seasons in league history. Brees also was selected to the 2018 Pro Bowl for the 11th time.
