Former New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Derland Moore will appear at the Saints Hall of Fame Museum on Sunday, October 7 prior to the New Orleans Saints game against the San Diego Chargers from 5 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
A key member of the Saints from 1973-1985, Moore ranks eighth all-time in New Orleans Saints history in games played with 170. He is one seven players tied for the longest tenure in franchise history as a player with 13 seasons in the Black and Gold. The Oklahoma alum led the Saints in sacks in 1980 and he was selected to the Pro Bowl in 1983.
Moore is a member of the Saints Hall of Fame (1991) and the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame.
The Saints Hall of Fame Museum is open three hours prior to each New Orleans Saints home game and for 45 minutes following each home game. Admission on game day is free of charge to those holding game tickets.
