NFL CAREER – A five-year veteran who has started 32 games in his career, Leckey was signed in March and immediately bolsters the depth and experience along the Saints' offensive front. Originally a sixth-round draft pick of the Arizona Cardinals in 2004, he arrived in New Orleans after spending all of 2008 and the last three contests of 2007 with the St. Louis Rams. Leckey, a four-year starter at Kansas State who did not allow a sack in his college career, has appeared in 57 NFL games.

COLLEGE – Began career at guard for Kansas State before switching to center as a senior…Started 41 consecutive games from midway through his freshman season and did not allow a sack in any game he started….Earned first-team All-America honors from ESPN and Sports Illustrated as a senior…Also a consensus All-Big 12 first-team choice and named Kansas State's Offensive Lineman of the Year.
