NFL CAREER – Charleston played in 10 games after being picked up by the Saints as a free agent in October, and he proved to be a shrewd addition. He brought depth to the defensive line and responded with a career-high three sacks in spot duty. Charleston has appeared in 23 games in his career, with three starts. First signed by the Houston Texans as an undrafted free agent in 2006, Charleston latched on with the Indianapolis Colts in 2007 and appeared in 13 games. In his career, he has recorded 53 stops, four sacks and a forced fumble.
