NFL CAREER – Entering his second season in New Orleans, David looks to build on his first Saints campaign that saw him tie for the team-lead with three interceptions and post a career-best 57 tackles in 13 games. The Saints acquired the former Washington State cornerback in the 2007 offseason, signing the defender as a restricted free agent from the Indianapolis Colts, the team that drafted him in the fourth round in 2004. In his career, David has played in 61 regular-season games with 55 starts, recording 200 tackles (148 solo) with 11 interceptions, 43 pass defenses, three forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. He has twice scored touchdowns, returning one of his interceptions for a score and also running back a fumble. In addition, he is a veteran of seven postseason games with six starts, including a Super Bowl XLI victory with the Colts.
