NFL CAREER – A sure-handed target who has consistently moved the chains with timely receptions for the Saints, Miller has been a solid addition and had a career resurgence since arriving in New Orleans in 2006. Last season he played in all 16 games for the first time since 2004 and started seven contests. The ninth-year veteran caught 27 passes for 328 yards and a pair of touchdowns – Miller’s highest totals since 2003. In 28 games with the Saints with two playoff contests, he has six catches of 20 yards or more to lead all tight ends, including a 57-yard grab last season. An able blocker who adds experience to the offensive front, Miller went to training camp with the Saints in 2006 and played in 10 games during the club’s playoff run, making key contributions during the postseason. From 2002-2004, he played for the Houston Texans, where he posted 108 receptions, including a career-high 51 in 2002. The former USC standout has played in 99 NFL games (32 starts) and has notched 155 grabs for 1,669 yards and nine touchdowns.
