COLLEGE CAREER – A big, sure-handed target who emerged as a key performer at Michigan last season, the Saints traded back into the draft to select Arrington after initially exhausting all of their picks. The club sent a 2009 sixth-round choice to the Green Bay Packers to pick up the seventh-round pick to nab Arrington. In 35 games with the Wolverines, Arrington started 18 and had 109 receptions for 1,438 yards, with 16 touchdowns.

2007 – Was the recipient of the Desmond Howard Award, given to the team’s top receiver…Started started all 13 games at flanker, finishing second on the team with a career-high 67 catches for 882 yards (13.2 avg.) and eight touchdowns…Also completed an 11-yard TD pass off a reverse…Caught a pass in every game, extending his streak to 26-straight contests, and had three games with over 100 yards receiving. 2006 – Played in 13 games, starting four, and finished second on the squad with 40 receptions for 544 yards (13.6 avg.) and eight touchdowns…Scored 48 points and posted a solo tackle in the Wisconsin clash. 2005 – Suffered a right ankle fracture after returning a kickoff 15 yards vs. Northern Illinois in the season opener…Underwent surgery, missing the rest of the season. 2004 – Appeared in eight games as a true freshman, sitting out four contests…Caught a pair of passes for 12 yards.
