Key Play
The Saints drove down the field on their opening drive, with Deuce McAllister powering in from eight yards for a touchdown.
Shayne Graham booted a 51-yard field goal to put the Bengals on the scoreboard.
Olindo Mare answered with a 48-yard kick to push the New Orleans lead back to seven points.
Charles Grant sacked Carson Palmer and forced a fumble that Antwan Lake recovered on the Cincinnati 22.
Reggie Bush scored on a 6-yard run five plays after the fumble.
Graham was good on a 33-yard kick to make the score 17-6 in favor of the Saints.
Following a sack of Jamie Martin that forced a fumble recovered by the Bengals inside the Saints' 5-yard line, the New Orleans defense was able to force Graham's third field goal of the half, a 25-yarder.
Graham kicked a 32-yard field goal with :03 remaining in the half to make the score 17-12 at the break.
Antonio Pittman scored on a 1-yard plunge on the first play of the fourth quarter.
Mare drilled a 23-yard field goal with 1:50 left in the fourth quarter.
