TOUCHDOWN CLUB OF NEW ORLEANS DINNER CONTINUES LONG STANDING TRADITIONAL DINNERS

Traditionally each Tuesday night prior to a home game, the Touchdown Club of New Orleans hosts a dinner meeting where members of the club and their guests are joined by a Saints player for an evening of fine food and football talk.

Recently fullback Heath Evans and his wife, Beth, were the guests of honor at the Tony Mandina’s dinner. Previously tight end Billy Miller and his wife, Rachael, were the featured guests at Salvatore’s Restaurant. A relative newcomer, RB Mike Bell, appeared at the Touchdown Club TD Club at Impastato’s Restaurant and had such a great time that he returned to the next get-together in a cameo appearance as his fellow teammates, first-year running back Lynell Hamilton and rookie linebacker Jonathan Casillas ran the show at Drago’s.

At each of the dinners the attending player talks a bit about his background and answers questions from all of the Saints fans in the room. The players then take the time to sign autographs and take pictures with the members of the Touchdown Club. The evenings always conclude with special raffle drawings, where the winners receive various Saints items provided by the club, including a set of tickets to a Saints home game.
