Saints Sign Fifth Round Pick G/T Carl Nicks

The New Orleans Saints have signed fifth-round draft choice G/T Carl Nicks to a three-year contract, it was announced today by Executive Vice President/General Manager Mickey Loomis.
Nicks, who started all 11 games at left tackle for Nebraska in 2007, was selected 164th overall. He played in 23 games for the Cornhuskers during his two years at the school. In 2005, he attended Hartnell Junior College (Salinas, Calif.) and in 2003 was a reserve defensive tackle at New Mexico State.
