Under the directive of Owner Tom Benson, the New Orleans Saints will not raise the prices of season tickets for 2009, and will also maintain the same fees for parking. The club has sold out the Louisiana Superdome on a season-ticket basis for the last three years.

“I believe we have the most loyal fans in the NFL, and the support we’ve had from our season ticket holders since 2006 especially has been unprecedented in our club’s history,” said Benson. “It’s a streak I wanted to acknowledge and see continue, and freezing season ticket prices is one way to recognize the atmosphere and enthusiasm that they bring to the Superdome.”

Additionally, the club is requesting that the Louisiana Superdome maintain all current concession prices for Saints games in 2009.

The Saints have also segmented the payments of the season ticket plan into three installments – unlike it having been broken up into two in the past. The club will soon send out the first invoices for 2009 to current season ticket holders.

After renewals are received from the initial invoice, the team’s policy is to make the season ticket accounts that are not renewed available to those on the waiting list, which has now grown to over 43,000.

The Saints reached a sell-out of the Superdome on a season-ticket basis for the first time in team history in 2006.
